Ex-stock
This tubular frame design is stocked in 4 body sizes as listed here. All are available as pull type, with 3 sizes also available in push versions. Tubular frame solenoids cost more than open frame designs, based on force / stroke, but have a smaller cross sectional area.
Body size is to nearest mm (excludes plunger and stroke). Stroke is the maximum at which movement will begin. Maximum force is for guidance, at final 0.5mm of plunger movement.
PDF note:
Note that the pdf drawings also show performance characteristics for other duty cycles,
and electrical details for other standard coil voltages.
| Model | Body Size mm | Stroke in mm | Max force in gf |
|---|---|---|---|
| TU1325 | 26 x 13dia | 12 | 225 |
| TU1939 | 39 x 20dia | 18 | 1200 |
| TU2551 | 51 x 25dia | 18 | 2000 |
| TU3257 | 57 x 21dia | 18 | 3200 |
IMPORTANT NOTE
The solenoid company can supply any DC voltage, other body sizes, different duty cycles etc,
please enquire.

The TU push type.
Part number explanation. The different variations of TU series solenoids are coded into the part number which is is made up of 5 components. We have shown these here in the headings A to E. Explanations are shown below the table.
| A | B | C | D | E |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| TU | 1325 | P | 24VDC | 100% |
| 1939 | T | |||
| 2551 | ||||
| 3257 |
A = Design Series, in this case all tubular
B = Body size
C = P = pull or T = push(Thrust)
D = Voltage, in this case all 24VDC
E = Duty cycle, in this case all 100%
Note all these solenoids are supplied with flying leads.
Force is shown in gf [1 Newton = 100gf]
1gf = 0.1N; 1kgf = 10N
Force is greatest at end of movement when pulling into body.
These standard stock solenoids exclude any return spring.
"Push" solenoids are identical to the "pull" ones except
that the plunger passes through the body to enable a push as well as pull
function.
