We are frequently asked for help in supplying a solenoid as a spare part for your car, household appliance, jet ski or favorite toy etc. In most cases we cannot help because we have no idea what design of solenoid is in use. Size, mounting, voltage, force, stroke, protection class, materials and mechanical linkage combine to make these types of solenoid almost impossible to identify and replace. Most likely the solenoid will have been specially built for the manufacturer of the equipment you are using. In these cases the manufacturer will most likely keep that solenoid as a spare part, or be able to find you one quickly. Our advice is to treat it as a "spare part" need rather than a solenoid, and find the equipment supplier.
As the official spare parts centre for Kuhnke brand we can supply, in most cases, the exact Kuhnke part number. This will typically be a series|model|voltage|duty cycle number such as D|32OC|24VDC|100%ED with the name Kuhnke clearly visible. Occasionally the solenoid may be obsolete, or of such a special construction that the original equipment manufacturer may be a better source. Always contact us in the first instance.
