The very smallest of the open frame solenoid is the Kuhnke MM series, at least as a standard product.
The MM has overall dimensions of 30mmx16.5mmx11.5mm and a maximum stroke of 1.8mm. The available force of varying stroke lengths depends on the duty cycle. Typically, at maximum stroke 5 Newtons can be achieved at 5%, reducing to 0.5 Newtons at 100%.
The most common voltage is 24VDC, but these solenoids can be wound for most DC voltages, often at 5VDC for battery operation. Note 1.8w at 100%, or peak 26.3w at 5%.
