Solenoid Company heavy duty linear

Linear Solenoids > Heavy Duty RM

A standard closed frame linear solenoid, using a round body design. This is the largest and most powerful solenoid in the standard Kuhnke range offering strokes up to 40mm and force in excess of 1000 Newtons at low duty cycles.

Standard model numbers are RM13, RM20, RM26, RM32, RM040, RM050, RM060, RM070, RM080 RM090, RM100 & RM140. There are 12 standard body sizes, each combining thrust and pull function, from 13mm to 60mm diameter. The available force depends on duty cycle, stroke and chosen body size.

The most common voltage is 24VDC but these can be wound for most DC voltages.

The PDF downloads are in 2 sets. The lower end range RM13, RM20, RM26, & RM32 are all thrust and pull combined without the options available on the larger models. The larger RM40, 050, 060, 070, 080, 090, 100 and 140 have options that include stroke limiter, through plunger, flange, and gaiter.

RM heavy duty linear solenoid rangeKuhnke RM series . Closed round frame solenoids for maximum force applications. 12 sizes, pull and thrust combined, some models with stroke limiters, gaiters etc.

Part number explanation. The different versions of RM solenoids are coded into the part number which is made up of 6 components, which we have shown here in the headings A - F. Explanations are shown below the table.

A B C D E F G
RM 13 W X F 24 100%

A = Design, in this case RM
B = Model size
C = W = Standard feature on all RM solenoids
D = A 4 letter code such as ORL defining stroke limiter, gaiter, plunger etc on larger N=plug in socket
E = Connections, F = flying leads
F = Voltage in DC
G = Duty cycle
